Brixton Village Idiots isn’t a typical improvisation troupe. It’s more a project, aiming to stimulate spontaneity and joyfulness in a unique space, the Grenville Arcade in Brixton.
Week on week we find a new constellation of improvisation actors and comedians to perform in the market, as well as workshops around underlying techniques behind improvisation and comedy for all-comers.
The shows have taken a variety of forms:

- Song-shows
- Fashion themes
Our ranks are full of talented performers always looking to perform - which could be under the Village Idiots banner or with their own fully-formed group. If you want to get in contact with a particular performer or bunch of us, get in touch and we will make sure the connection is made.
